You have to book a hotel before your arrival. Day2: Arrive at Paro and transfer to Thimpu.We can see amazing Himalayas views on the Flight to Paro from Kathmandu International Airport. After all the permit and immigration checklist we drive to Thimpu. On the Arrival of Thimpu, we check in our hotel. Thimpu (2,320m) is the capital city of Bhutan, with the populations of around 1,00,000. We explore Thimpu walking around the city, looking modern and unique ancient traditions. we stay overnight at Thimpu. Day3: Tour from Thimpu to Punakha and Wangdeu (75km/3 hours).After early breakfast, drive to Dochu-La pass (3,088m/ 10,130 ft). On the way, if skies are clear the following peaks can be seen Masagang (7,158m), Tsendagang (6,960m), Terigang (7,060m), Jejegangphugang (7,158 m ), Kangphugang (7,170 m ), Zongphugang (7, 060 m )through left and right.Punakha was an earlier capital of Bhutan until 1955. Punakha is known for is limited shops and enlarged villages. Wangdeu is located south side of Punakha. On the afternoon visit, Punakha Dzong or (Palace of Great Happiness or Bliss) build in 1637 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal near Phochu and Mochu. After exploring Punakha, short tour towards Chimi Lhakhang, known as the monastery and a fertility temple ‘Divine Madman’ is believed those couple who don't have children and wanting one if they pray at this temple they are blessed with children very soon. We stay overnight at Punakha and Wangdeu (1200m). Day4: Tour from Punakha and Wngdeu to Paro (3-4 hours drive).After early morning breakfast, drive back to Paro. Passing to Paro from Dochu la, Wang Chuu and Paro Chuu river can see crossing the town. On the route visit Simtokha Dzong, oldest forest builds in 1629 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. Simtokha means ‘Atop a Demon’ it was constructed in order to reduce the spirit of the devil who is harassing the travelers who pass through this region. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong earlier named as the watchtower but later transformed as National Museum. Day5: Sightseeing in Paro.Early morning in Paro, the next visit will be Taktshang Monastery walking around 5-6 hours one of famous Bhutan Monasteries. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche arrived back as and the tigress and mediated on this monastery and hence named as 'Tiger’s Nest’. All Bhutanese people visit once in their lifetime, first, it was visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646. Day 6: Departure from Paro .After breakfast, we drive back to Paro and leave for Kathmandu International Airport.
