It is very easy for foreigners to get the Visa of Nepal. The Nepalese visa are available form the Nepal Embassies, consulate general offices and honorary consul offices. We recommend you to visit the missions office abroad either yourself or you can get the authentic Nepal Visa Information through the official website of those mission.
SAARC countries nationals and China nationals do not need visa when visiting Nepal, however, except the Indian nationals (who travel to/go out from Nepal by land) you need to carry your passport with you. Valid National Passport or other Government Issued Photo Identity card are required for Indian nationals who are flying to/flying back from Nepal.
Information for Indian Nationals
If you are coming to Tribhuvan International Airport as a transit Passenger and you wish to Visit Nepal, you can get a Transit Visa which is valid for three days.
If you are entering Nepal either from the land or airports you need to be sure that you have duly got the Departure stamped in your passport from the last port or the country. For example, if you are entering Nepal from the India Border then your passport must have the departure stamp of the Indian Immigration. If you don't have your passport stamped then it will be the matter of inquiry for Nepal Immigration.
