Tour Overview

Chandragiri Hill is seven kilometers from Thankot and lies on the south-west side of Kathmandu Valley which is 2551 meters above sea level. This hill is connected with both Buddhist and Hindu religions. The hill provides panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Everest.

Chandragiri hill is the best destination for both tourists and the local people. Located in the beautiful green hill station, it will be a perfect day tour near Kathmandu Valley. It only takes ten minutes to rich at the Chandragiri top viewpoint and is especially famous for Hindu pilgrims because at the top of a hill there is a huge lord Shiva temple. Its main attraction is to ride on a cable car to reach Chandragiri hill, there are no services of cable car expect in the way to Muktinath temple, so thousands of people come to ride the cable car and mesmerize the beauty of highest hill near Kathmandu valley.
