Details Itinerary Photos Tour Overview Everest Guide Service Trek, the most challenging and exciting trek in the Everest Region, following the route via Lukla airport to Namche Bazar and reaching the destination Mt. Everest Base Camp (5364m). From Lukla, slowly following the trail to the Dudh Kosi ( ‘River of Milk’), and all through forests of rhododendron, pine, and magnolia. After few hours of trekking, we reach Namche Bazaar (3,340 m) and spend a day more at Namche Bazaar (the delightful Sherpa capital) for acclimatization and optional hike around. After reaching Gorekshep we climb up to Basecamp where you can enjoy the best peaks of different mountains such as Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Oyo, Mt Ama Dablam, Mt. Cholatse. From base camp, we reach towards Pheriche and again trail towards Tengboche. From Tengboche, we can enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Everest. Early morning we head towards Namchebazar, take rest at Namche. Next day from Namche Bazar day we trek back to Lukla. While on trek you will enjoy the incredible mountain scenery until you reach Lukla airstrip. Next day morning you take a flight back to Kathmandu. Day 02: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3340m)Day 036Rest day at Namche Bazar.The trail leads to Dudh Koshi River, climbing steeply towards Benkar through a rocky ridge, we head to the magnificent forests of magnolia, giant firs, and rhododendron which make the trail beautiful to walk in. from the Kyashar we climb to Monjo and also enter the Sagarmatha National Park which is just below the Monjo. Way to entrance station makes a steep rocky descent where we cross the Dudh Koshi River leading us to Namche Bazaar (3420m). Day 04: Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m) 6 – 7 hrsAfter a hectic day, you need to take rest and prepare for the further higher trek. This day will be a hiking day for you where we hike to the villages of Khumjung and Khunde. we continue our journey to Shyanboche airstrip passing numerous stone Buddhist monuments. After Khunde, we head east to the large Khumjung village lying at the foot of the sacred mountain Khumbila. After launch, we take some rest and follow to Chhorkung (3540m) and back to Namche Bazaar. Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche(4110m) 5-6 hoursFrom Namche, we resume our trek to Syangboche which is the old Airport but have the helicopter service. We can view beautiful peaks through Syangboche and Khumjung such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Thamserku, Kwangde. Kangtega and many more. We then visit Khumjung village at 3790m ( a Sherpa village) where we can see the school and hospital made by Sir Edmund Hillary.After experiencing amazing peaks, we head to Sanasa which have a small settlement area. The trail from Sanasa drops to Phunki Thanga then climb up through forests and hills where we find monastery of Tengboche at 3870m. From here we can view the inspiring panorama of Mountain giants including Everest, Ama Dablam, Kwangde, Kantega, Nuptse, Thamserku, and Lhotse. We will stay in Tengboche village and experience the people’ lifestyle and culture. Day 06: Trek Dingboche to Pheriche (4240m) 4 – 5 hoursPheriche is the destination set for the day. Leaving Dengbouche behind, we follow the stone steps and hike down through the forest enjoying the scents of the fresh vegetation to cross the bridge over the Imja River at Chaturje. A steep ascent past the settlement of Pangboches can take us to a different bridge at Somar, where we hike towards another bridge on a flat path, through the alpine meadows and yak herds following the geographic region of the Imja River. Before reaching the bridge we have a tendency to stumble upon a path junction where the Everest 3 pass path meets the bottom camp path. Leaving the Everest 3 passes behind, we continue to Everest base camp path and hike up to the Pheriche pass. Then a mile hike down the pass past the bridge and stone walls can take us to the settlement of Pheriche. During the evening, we stroll around the village of Pheriche. We stay overnight here. Day 07: Trek Pheriche to Gorakshep (5140m) 6 – 7 hoursLeaving Feriche behind we walk through the steep way for 6 to 7 hours till we reach Gorakshep (5140m). We take rest and prepare for the great trek the next day. Day 08: Trek Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and back to Gorakshep 5-6 hoursThe path continues to climb to Gorak Shep where we check in to Mt. Lodge, have lunch and once more begin to climb up to Everest Base Camp. Having passed the pyramid sign, we will now spot the crest of the north ridge of Everest in conjunction with Mt. Pumori, Mt Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse and so on. Simply a tiny low ascent from here leads you to a 360-degree panorama of snowy mountains. A steep climb up to the highest through the torrent of Changri glacier provides you a glimpse of Kala Pattar. Walking through rocky and glacial trails finally results in the Everest Base Camp (5,357m). Once reaching the bottom Camp you'll come to Gorekshep (5,160m) where you stay overnight. Day 09: Return back to Dingboche from Gorakshep via Kalapattar in the morning 7-8 hrsWe head back to Dingboche after a great success of the trail from Everest Base Camp. We walk for about 6 to 8 hours through the steep up and down the hills. We stay overnight at the Hotel. Day 10: Trek Back to Namche from DingbocheThe trail takes down through the hillside green forest of juniper trees and rhododendron then we cross the prayer flag festooned bridge over Dudh Koshi River following Dudh Koshi Gorge through pine forest. We can explore colorful pheasants and mountain goats in the forest. We then reach to Sansa experiencing Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Thamserku mountains. We reach Namche Bazaar by passing the winding trail and forest. Day 11: Trek Back to Lukla from Namche Bazar.As the trail steps down steeply so we need to walk very carefully as our legs are shaky and frequently get and fight in the rocky terrain. After we cross the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, the trail becomes natural and easy and we arrive in Lukla. We take a good rest, relax and celebrate and stay overnight.
