Details Itinerary Map Photos Tour Overview Everest Three Pass Trek located at Khumbu region of Nepal offers the great experience of Himalaya scenery and takes to Renjo La Pass (5360m), Mt. Cho La Pass (5420m) and Kongmo La Pass (5535m) along Kala Patthar (5545m), Mt. Everest base camp (5364m), Gokyo lake, Gokyo Ri and Nangpa La valley. Everest Three Pass Trek offers adventurous challenge crossing different region through different passes. The great opportunity of Everest region is meeting Sherpas, their lifestyles, culture, tradition, and settlement of picturesque of Sherpa people. However, you can participate Dumje Festival at April and Tengboche Rimbu Mani festival in October. After preparation of trek fly to Lukla about 35 minutes and beginning trek (3 hours ) to Phakding at the first night of the trip. At three passes trek will continue from Namche passes through the different rivers, forests, hills, lake, glaciers and high passes. The trip will complete also at Namche as a small circle. Tips & Donations Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuvan international airport and take you to hotelOur tour guide or any representative team from Great Vision Trek and Expedition will pick you up and drop to your hotel. You have to book a hotel before your arrival. Day 02: Trek Preparation and Kathmandu city tourFor sightseeing we guide you to UNESCO world heritage site includes the Pashupatinath temple, Buddhist holy pilgrimage (Buddha and Shyambhu), Kathmandu durbar square, Bhaktapur Durbar square and Patan Durbar square. After took we drop you back to your hotel room through our private vehicle Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airport and trek to Phakding(2652m/8700ft) We will take the early morning flight from Kathmandu (1400m). There are many flights for Lukla (2840 m). The flight duration from Kathmandu to Lukla is approximately 35 minutes. After we reach Lukla, we take rest for an hour while our guides and local porters prepare for the trip. After an hour rest, our trail begins to Phakding (2652 m). Day 04: Freshen up and taking rest for a while trail leads to Namche Bazar (3440m/11283ft) From Phakding trail leads to Dudh Koshi River and valley lying to its west bank. Climbing steeply towards Benkar through a rocky ridge, we head to the magnificent forests of magnolia, giant firs, and rhododendron which make the trail beautiful to walk in. We climb up to Monjo (2840m) across the Kyashar and enter the Sagarmatha National Park lying beyond Monjo. Way to entrance station makes a steep rocky descent where we cross Dudh Koshi River leading us to Namche Bazaar (3420m). Day 05: Rest and explore places and Sagarmatha National Park, rivers and bridgesAfter a hectic day, you need to take rest and prepare for the further higher trek. This day will be a hiking day for you where we hike to the villages of Khumjung and Khunde. Our hike starts from Shyanboche airstrip via climbing one hour and lead to Khunde where we pass through numerous stone Buddhist monuments. After Khunde, we head east to the large Khumjung village lying at the foot of the sacred mountain Khumbila. We then have lunch and rest for a while then follow to Chhorkung (3540m) and back to Namche Bazaar. Day 06: Trekking starts after exploration from Namche to Thame (3800m/12467ft)Today our destination is Thame. Leaving the standard Everest Base Camp route behind, we take a clockwise flat path that 1st descends to Phurte crossing Gongla in the course of totally different monasteries and Chorten on the way. We then cross the These bu River and ascend towards Thamo. we tend to explore the Thame village and still ascend the path on the Bhote Koshi river until we reach the Thame village. Before reaching Thame, we cross a bridge across the Bhote Koshi River. We pay the remaining day exploring the Thame village. We stay overnight in the village. Day 07: After an easy walk to Marling from Bhote Koshi River, the trail leads to Lumde (4,380m/14,370ft)Today our destination is Lumde. From Thame, following the south bank of the Bhote Koshi River, we ascend towards Marulung crossing many suspension bridges and spending numerous tiny settlements, monasteries, and Mane on the way. On crossing a bridge before Marulung, we follow the north bank of the Bhote Koshi River and walk uphill to Lumde through the dry valley. On reaching Lumde, we rest for a few times at the lodge and once more hike on top of the lodge with the aim of necessary acclimatization. The night is going to be spent at a reside Lumde. Day 08: Hard climb to Renjo La and explore amazing Mt. Everest and Mt. Nuptseek, the trek continues to Gokyo (4,790m/15,715ft)Today our destination is Gokyo. Today, the path takes us to the primary actual destination of the trek - Renjo La (5,360m). Today’s walk is sort of troublesome because the path is sort of slippery. After ascending for regarding one and a half hour the walk becomes relatively straightforward till we reach the bottom of Renjo La. Now, a troublesome climb from here can take us to the primary pass out of the 3 high passes on the way. From the highest of Renjo La, we walk all the way down to the Third Lake (Gokyo Tsho). On reaching Gokyo we rest for a few times at the lodge and so once more, we walk up to the ridge to relish the wonderful readers of the most important glacier of the chain of mountains, the Ngozumba glacier. Overnight at Gokyo. Day 09: Walk through the longest glacier, Ngozumpa glacier the trail leads to Thaknak (4,700m/15,419ftIn case if we didn’t make it to Gokyo Ri the previous day, we will climb on this day. It is the challenging climb as it is lofty and takes 3 – 4 hours to make it to the top. Though it is challenging, it’s adventurous and we can view amazing Gokyo village lying on the edge of 3rd lake unnoticed by Cholatse and the great Nogzumpa Glacier. We will be all surrounded by spectacular mountains such as Thamserku, Cholatse, Kusum Kanguru, Everest, Pumori, Taboche, Makalu, Changtse Lhotse, and Nuptse. You will be amazed to see the sight of sunrays seems to like kissing the Everest which also towers over the surrounding mountains. The trial resumes from Ngazumpa Glacier to the mountain and then meanders into Thagnak. We take rest this day after and prepare for long hiking days. Day 10: Trek to Zungla (4,620m/15,157ft) via Chola passFrom Thaknak, we descend towards Zungla (4620m/15157ft) through Chola pass. Day 11: Trek to Gorekshep (5,140m/16,863ft)We take the path to Mount Everest Base Camp through the once huge Gorak Shep Lake. Continuing straight ahead, we tend to come upon the Indian army mountaineers' memorials. The path from here is misleading; thus, it's necessary that we follow our lead Sherpa diligently. The walk is exhausting as a result of thin air within the high altitude. Day 12: Visit Everest Base camp (5,364m/17,598ft)Before we reach the Basecamp, we walk through moraine, streams and rocky dunes. After we reach base camp, we can see many tents of mountaineers standing out in bright colors. We can also view other peaks such as Pumori, Nuptse, and Khumbuste. After experiencing the outstanding trip we head back to Gorak Shep. We stay overnight and get good rest. Day 13: Hike to Kalapatthar and Trek to Lobuche (4,910m/16,108ft)From Gorekshep, we walk up the hill through tough rocky moraine path where we can see Khumbu Glacier. We will visit Kalapathar then continue along till we reach Lobuche (4910m/16108ft). Day 14: Trek to Chukung (4,730m/15,510ft)From Lobuche, we walk through Khumbu Glacier experiencing the highest pass, the three high passes. We walk steeply down till we reach Chukung (4730m/15510ft). Day 15: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m/12,664ft)After experiencing amazing peaks, we head to Sanasa which have a small settlement area. The trail from Sanasa drops to Phunki Thanga then climb up through forests and hills where we find monastery of Tengboche at 3870m. From here we can view the inspiring panorama of Mountain giants including Everest, Ama Dablam, Kwangde, Kantega, Nuptse, Thamserku, and Lhotse. We will stay in Tengboche village and experience the people’ lifestyle and culture. Day 16: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11,283ft)The trail takes down through the hillside green forest of juniper trees and rhododendron then we cross the prayer flag festooned bridge over Dudh Koshi River following Dudh Koshi Gorge through pine forest. We can explore colorful pheasants and mountain goats in the forest. We then reach to Sansa experiencing Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Thamserku mountains. We reach Namche Bazaar by passing the winding trail and forest. Day 17: Trek to Lukla (2,840m/9,317ft)As the trail steps down steeply so we need to walk very carefully as our legs are shaky and frequently get and fight in the rocky terrain. After we cross the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, the trail becomes natural and easy and we arrive in Lukla. We take a good rest, relax and celebrate and stay overnight. Day 18: Fly to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)In this day, we will have a flight to Kathmandu before that you can have shopping, collect souvenirs as per your wish and head to Kathmandu. Day 19: Final DepartureThis is the day of your departure so you can have shopping and celebrate your successful trekking journey. Our representative with driver will take you to the airport on time.
