Details Itinerary Photos Tour Overview Mt. Kailash is situated at Nepal’s far western corner of Tibetan Plateau. One of the popular tourist destination, Mt Kailash Tour’s other main attraction is Lake Manasarovar lying on the same Tibetan Plateau. Mt Kailash standing tall at the height of 6741m is a black mountain with snow-capped top and four sheer walls. Mt Kailash is a holy destination for Hindus, for them, it is the abode of Lord Shiva. This holy mountain covers 53 km of the land which takes 3 days to explore the entire circumference. Mt Kailash from Kathmandu takes around four days across the vast Tibetan Plateau while for long trekking trail; one can drive from Simikot in western Nepal which takes a whole week to reach Mount Kailash. Day 2: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation For sightseeing we guide you to UNESCO world heritage site includes the Pashupatinath temple, Buddhist holy pilgrimage (Buddha and Shyambhu), Kathmandu durbar square, Bhaktapur Durbar square and Patan Durbar square. After took we drop you back to your hotel room through our private vehicle. Day 3: Kathmandu to Nyalam (3750m) After breakfast, we depart to China Border which takes about 5 hours drive then; our guide will complete all the formalities then continue the drive Nyalam, Tibetan town. We stay overnight at the Hotel. Day 4: Nyalam Full day acclimatization Today we take rest and explore the Nyalam area. Day 5: Nyalam to Dongba/ Paryang (4500m): 375kms Destination set for today is Donga. After breakfast, we head towards Dongba/Paryang (4500m) from Nyalam. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 6: Dongba/Paryang (4500m): 335kms to Mansarovar Destination set for today is Mansarovar. After breakfast, we head towards Marsarovar from Dongba/Paryang. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 7: Mansarovar to Darchen (4600m): 110km Destination set for today is Darchen. After breakfast, we head towards Darchen (4600m) from Mansorovar. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 8: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890m): 12km Destination set for today is Diraphuk. After breakfast, we head towards Diraphuk (4890m) from Darchen. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 9: Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790m): 22km Destination set for today is Zhulthulphuk. After breakfast, we head towards Zhulthulphuk (4790m) from Diraphuk. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 10: Zhulthulphuk to Mansarovar Destination set for today is Mansarovar. After breakfast, we head towards Mansarovar from Zhulthulphuk. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 11: Mansarovar to Dongba/Saga Destination set for today is Dongba/Saga. After breakfast, we head towards Donggba/Saga (4500m) from Mansarovar. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 12: Dongba/Saga to Nyalam Destination set for today is Nyalam. After breakfast, we head back towards Nyalam from Dongba/Saga. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel. Day 13: Flight from Nyalam to Kathmandu Next morning, we wake up early and head towards airport where we have a flight to Kathmandu. After arrival, you will be sent to the hotel where you will have a delicious traditional dinner.
