Rolwaling valley also called as the "the Grave" simply because of its location buried down between steep ice-gaints. Rolwaling valley lies amidst Everest Region and Langtang Region in the Gaurishankar Rural municipality located in eastern central Himalayas of Nepal besides Tibet border. During this trek, the trekkers can view the captivating sights of both Mt. Everest and Mt. Langtang and enchanting view of Mt. Melungtse, Mt. Dorje Lapka, Mt. Tashi Lapka, Mt. Sisha Pangba, Mt. Lang Sisha, beautiful water falls, monasteries, landscapes and the beautiful Gaurishankar Himal (7134m). The Nepal's biggest Glacial lake Tsho Rolpa lies in this region. This valley has many mysterious stories about the Yeti. It is believed that Yeti lived over this valley. Though Rolwaling Valley Trek is one of the beautiful trek route, very few trekkers has succeeded to do trekking because this trek pass goes between huge mountains covering the area of Nepal and Tibet(China).Rolwaling valley trek is one of the must hardest trekking in Nepal, which begins from Kathmandu to Shigati, Dolokha, a small town near Charikot which is 8/9 hour drive from Kathmandu. Day 02: City Tour and Preparation for trek For sightseeing we guide you to UNESCO world heritage site includes the Pashupatinath temple, Buddhist holy pilgrimage (Buddha and Shyambhu), Kathmandu durbar square, Bhaktapur Durbar square and Patan Durbar square. After took we drop you back to your hotel room through our private vehicle. Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dolakha to Shigati(950m) and same day trek to Suri DobhanWe take a drive from Kathmandu through beautiful mountains and high hills and visit Bhimeswor Temple in Dolakha. After we reach Shigati, we take rest for a while then head towards Suri Dobhan. Day 04: Trek from Suri Dobhan to Jagat (1400m/4723ft.) 5/6 hoursFollowing the Bhote Koshi’s deep valley we cross the hectic river. We cross a suspension bridge, pass villages and few hamlets experiencing the great view of Gaurishankar (7145m), we finally reach Jagat (1250m). Day 05: Trek from Jagat to Simigaun (1990m/6527ft.) 5 hoursLeaving the valley, we climb up the impressive slope and cross terraces till we reach Simigaun (1990m). Simigaon is a beautiful village of Tamang and Sherpa’s that are marked by Tibetan monastery perched above the top of the houses. We stay overnight here experiencing their culture. Day 06: Trek from Simigaun to Kharka (2900m/9512ft.) 6 hoursLeaving the village we walk for about 6 hours till we reach Kharka (2900m/9512ft). Day 07: Trek from Kharka to Beding (3690m/12103ft.) 4 hoursWe climb up to the forest valley of tropical alpine vegetation experiencing mountain sceneries all around. Walking for about 4 hours leads us to Beding, a lovely small village. Day 08: Trek from Beding to Na (4180m/13710ft.) 5 hoursFrom Beding, 5 hours of walk we take us to Na (4180m/13710ft). Na is the tiny alpine hamlet situated just below Tsho Rolpa Glacier Lake where we can view beautiful peaks Yalung Ri(5630m), Chobutse (6685m) and Chugimago (6259m). Day 09: Trek from Na to Tso Rolpa Lake (4588m/15048ft.) 7 hoursWe ascend just below the Na through the valley for about 7 hours experiencing beautiful mountains Yalung Ri(5630m), Chobutse (6685m) and Chugimago (6259m) leading us to Tso Rolpa Lake (4588m/15048ft). Day 10: Trek from Tso Rolpa to Trakarding Glacier (4800m/16432ft.) 4 hoursAfter exploring amazing lake, we head towards Tarkarding Glacier (4800m/16432ft) which takes about 4 hours. Day 11: Trek from Trakarding Glacier to Tashi Lapcha Base Camp (5010m/16432ft.) 5 hoursExperiencing Spectacular Mountain views such as Bigphero-Go (6729m), Ragi Tau (6943m) and Dragkar-Go (6793m) and crossing the Drolumbau glacier through tricky and fairly glacier leading us to the Tashi Lapcha Base Camp (5010m/16432ft). We stay below the summit in a tent. Day 12: Cross Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m/18876ft.) 5 hoursExpolring the base camp, we then cross the Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m/18876ft) walking for about 5 hours. Day 13: Trek to Thengpo (4370m)Walking through the steep land, the trail takes us to Thengpo (4370m). We stay overnight and take rest in a Hotel. Day 14: Reserve dayToday is the reserve day so we take rest and celebrate our success. We can explore the villages and forest, capture Himalaya views and get back to the hotel where we have delicious traditional food and prepare for next day trip. Day 15: Trek to Thame (3820m) Today we walk early morning and head back to Thame (3820m) through the picturesque monastery. Thame is one of the important routes for Tibetan traders. We stay overnight here. Day 16: Trek from Thame to Namche Bazar (3440m)Leaving the mountains behind we walk across Khumjung valley and head towards Namche Bazaar, the gateway (3440m). We stay overnight. Day 17: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2840m)As the trail steps down steeply so we need to walk very carefully as our legs are shaky and frequently get ang fight in the rockey terrain. After we cross the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, the trail becomes natural and easy and we arrive in Lukla. We take a good rest, relax and celebrate and stay overnight. Day 18: Lukla to flight back to Kathmandu.In this day, we will have a flight to Kathmandu before that you can have shopping, collect souvenirs as per your wish and head to Kathmandu. After we reach Kathmandu, you will be taken to the Hotel where you experience evening culture dinner. Day 19: Final DepartureThis is your last day in Kathmandu so you can enjoy your meal, go shopping before the flight. Our representative with driver will take you to the airport for departure.
