Rolwaling valley Trek is one of the most difficult trek in Nepal. Rolwaling valley also called as the "the Grave" simply because of its location buried down between steep ice-gaints. Rolwaling valley lies amidst Everest Region and Langtang Region in the Gaurishankar Rural municipality located in eastern central Himalayas of Nepal besides Tibet border. During this trek,  the trekkers can view the captivating sights of both Mt. Everest and Mt. Langtang and enchanting view of Mt. Melungtse, Mt. Dorje Lapka, Mt. Tashi Lapka, Mt. Sisha Pangba, Mt. Lang Sisha, beautiful water falls, monasteries, landscapes and the beautiful Gaurishankar Himal (7134m). The Nepal's biggest Glacial lake Tsho Rolpa lies in this region. This valley has many mysterious stories about the Yeti. It is believed that Yeti lived over this valley.

Though Rolwaling Valley Trek is one of the beautiful trek route, very few trekkers has succeeded to do trekking because this trek pass goes between huge mountains covering the area of Nepal and Tibet(China).

Rolwaling valley trek is one of the must hardest trekking in Nepal, which begins from Kathmandu to Shigati, Dolokha, a small town near Charikot which is 8/9 hour drive from Kathmandu. This trail following the course of Tama Koshi River on the way to Simigaon adds more thrils to the trek. Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to the hotel.
  • Day 02:  Kathmandu sightseeing and Preparation of trekking tour.
  • Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dolakha to Shigati(950m)  and same day trek to Suri Dobhan.
  • Day 04: Trek from Suri Dobhan to Jagat (1400m/4723ft.) 5/6 hours.
  • Day 05: Trek from Jagat to Simigaun (1990m/6527ft.) 5 hours
  • Day 06: Trek from Simigaun to Kharka (2900m/9512ft.) 6 hours
  • Day 07: Trek from Kharka to Bedding (3690m/12103ft.) 4 hours
  • Day 08: Trek from Bedding to Na (4180m/13710ft.) 5 hours
  • Day 09: Trek from Na to Tso Rolpa Lake (4588m/15048ft.) 7 hours
  • Day 10: Trek from Tso Rolpa to Trakarding Glacier (4800m/16432ft.) 4 hours
  • Day 11: Trek from Trakarding Glacier to Tashi Lapcha Base Camp (5010m/16432ft.) 5 hours
  • Day 12: Cross Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m/18876ft.) 5 hours
  • Day 13: Trek to Thengpo (4370m).
  • Day 14: exploration/ rest day.
  • Day 15: Trek to Thame (3820m).
  • Day 16: Trek from Thame to Namche Bazar (3440m).
  • Day 17: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2840m).
  • Day 18: Lukla to flight back to Kathmandu.
  • Day 19: Final Departure.
