The trekking Ruby Valley is between the Langtang National Park and Manaslu Conservation Area. The valley and trek had its name because of the Ganesh Himal. It's said that this mountain has gemstones from Ruby. The Ruby Valley walk is an exciting walk, which includes all sorts of landscapes and conditions. It comprises mainly flat terrains, terraced farms, steep, steep ascents, beautiful green forest landscapes and snow-capped high peaks. The Buddhist Tamang and Gurungs fully live in this region. Their rich traditions and cultures are extremely fascinating because we are going to learn their way of life. Apart from culture there are amazing views of the Ganesh Himal (7,422 m), Langtang Lirung (7,227 m), Boudha Himal (6,692 m). This trek starts from Kathmandu on the Trishuli River, which takes about 7 to 9 hours to Syabrubensi. The first starting point is Syabrubensi, also known as the Langtang valley gateway, where we are heading to Gatlang. The Buddhist influence of the locals of the Tamang and the Gurung can already be seen from here. When we go to Somdang, you will find lovely landscapes, green wildlife and landscapes. Trekking in dense rhododendron forests takes us to Tamang settlement in the village of Tipling. The village is surrounded by Buddhist monasteries and priests. The next day we go to Chalish Gaon, where we spend an extra day acclimatizing and exploring. The village of Chalish is said to have a frightening hot spring. The local people will perform for our entertainment their traditional cultural show. After an unforgettable night, we will follow the Jharlang trek through many suspension bridges, waterfalls and gorge to Dharkha Village at last. We'll take the transport back to Katmandu the next day. This unexplored trekking trail gives you the opportunity to explore some very remote areas in Nepal. You head to the highway from Kathmandu, slowly heading north along a main valley road. If the sky is clear, you will find many beautiful river views, terraced fields, small villages and snow-capped mountains. The road takes you to Dhunche, a small busy city. You will glimpse Ganesh Himal, terraces and green hills as you pass the road on the bank of the Trishuli River. Passing through Dhunche will make you feel like you're heading deep into the country. Then we'll get to Syabrubesi with a lot of things to explore and a hot spring along the river. Night in the lodge. Day 3: Trek to Gatlang (2240 m / 7355 ft) 6 hrsAs our starting point Syabrubensi, we open our first day on the trail. As we climb to the west, pass through rural villages and terraced areas, we have great natural panoramic views. The scenery is indeed peaceful and spectacular on the off beaten path, with our speed. Gatlang is an idyllic town mainly populated by the Tamang and Gurung people. The houses are connected closely. Overlooking the village we can take a side-tour to visit a production facility for cheese and the neighboring lake that is regarded sacred by local people. Day 4: Trek to Somdang (3,270 m/10,765 ft) 6-7hrsThe pilgrimage area with a swamp and the hint of the shrine takes us over the village from the Royal Gatling. This sacred area, known as the Kund of Parvati, is especially crowded at celebrations. We then cross rhododendron (Nepal's National Flowers) and pine woods with sometimes open pastures. Often, forests are more colorful and panoramic in spring and summer. We then walk to the Khurpu Bhanjyang pass with spectacular views. As we descend into the valley to the west, through a more peaceful and remote forest region, we cross the Somdang River, which is the border between the districts of Dhading and Rasuwa. We finally get to Dhading. Up into the valley there is a previously unused mining compound.The river bank collection is our destination a few minutes down the bridge. Day 5: Trek to Tipling (1875 m/6,190 ft) via Pangsang Kharka pass (3845 m/12645 ft) 8-9 hrsThe small settlements of Somdang lead us up to a wide pasture known as Pangsang Kharka through more scenic terrains, with a dense jungle. This pass has a wide open meadow and offers excellent views of the area, including Annapurnas, Manaslu and powerful Ganesh Himal. Then we go through a thicker jungle as we come down from a wide view of the lush valley we enter. Finally we arrived at Tipliing, a large town of Tamang, with Buddhist convents and Christian churches. The locals are friendly and we will learn about their influential Tibetan culture. Day 6: Trek to Chalis Gaon (1800m/ 5,960 ft) - 2hrsToday is a short and relaxing day as we walk to Shertung and Chalis Gaon 's sister villages. We descend first through a calm jungle, pass a tributary and continue on to Chalish Gaon, the magnificent village of idyllic character. Approximately 100 meters up Chailsh Gaon is the village of Shertung and both settlements allow for exploration or relaxation. Enjoy the spectacular landscape and the luxuriant valley below. Gurung, Tamang and Dalit mainly live in Shertung and Chalish Gaon. Day 7: Rest Day at Chalish GaonToday, we spend a day away from walking to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We also have optional walks to a nearby natural thermal spring throughout the valley, where we can take our cares. A walk up to a spectacular view of the villages is another option. Or, just relax in the village life, possibly interact and observe its typical daily schedule with the local population. The locals will play their cultural and traditional dances as an entertainment for us. Day 8: Trek to Jharlang (3,000m/ 9,900ft) 5-6 hrsWe say goodbye to this and walk through rich and dense jungle scenery by an amazing day at the Chalish Gaon in the past two days. The picturesque village of Borang will be crossed and then the denser jungle area will continue. This trail takes us through remote and beautiful villages, followed by Jharlang, a big town with spectacular views. Day 9: Trek to Darkha Bensi (830 m/ 2,710 ft) 6-7 hrsNow the last day of the trek, Dharkha Bensi will be the destination today. We walk along the lovely territory of jungles and fertile fields and lovely villages. It is a pleasant downhill through a picturesque valley to reach our destination on the road tomorrow to Kathmandu. Day10: Drive to Kathmandu 6-7 hrsWe will head back to Katmandu after an early morning breakfast, with a picturesque drive that offers a great view of the countryside and rural farmland of Nepal. After a good farewell to the quiet trails, the coach will take us back to the valley of Kathmandu with its diversity of cultures. The bus will make the last step in picturesque countryside.
